Nepal's first female Supreme Court Chief Justice, Sushila Karki assumed office on Monday. Her appointment to the nation's apex court had been approved by the Parliament Hearing Special Committee on Sunday. With her appointment, Nepal will have women at its three most prestigious posts after it got first female President (Bidya Devi Bhandari) and first female Speaker of Parliament (Onsari Gharti).
